The airport at Almeria is only a 30 minute drive away.

The resort itself has been entirely developed from a wild and rugged landscape and is set on a plateau that sweeps down towards the sea. All the properties are built to the highest specification and as the resort grows there will be additional features including a lake with a 60 room hotel and leisure facilities, various restaurants, clubs and bars and a 16 court Tennis Club and Academy. The world class par 72 golf course is the only desert golf course in Europe, making it unique and altogether special and has been designed by Peter McEvoy. Desert Springs is the Spanish home of the English Golf Union and therefore has an excellent golf academy with a magnificent driving range, putting and chipping greens, all assisted by a PGA qualified Director of Golf.

The individual private villas offer 3 or 4 bedrooms, state of the art fitted kitchens, pools, verandas, BBQ areas and solariums. This is frontline golf at it’s best and all amenities on the resort are close at hand. The country cottages also come with 3 or 4 bedrooms and share communal pool area’s. The spacious townhouses and apartments are set in a traditional courtyard environment and benefit from communal pools and roof solariums.
